He is the next ‘John Terry ‘ No way he is leaving!

Chelsea have maintained their position on Levi Colwill that he is not leaving the club as they consider the player as untouchable. Premier league clubs have sent bids to get the signature services of the player but Chelsea is unwilling to listen to any offers for the player as they want to avoid future nightmares as they have been victims of selling stars who have emerged to be the best in their next clubs. Chelsea see losing Colwill as bad as losing Musiala and Mount.

Levi Colwill, joined the club at the age of 8 and wants to be respectiful as he doesn’t want his academy connection be a controversy for his future. The left-footed centre back  has been compared to the legendary Chelsea defender John Terry by several players and teammates due to his ability to read the game and he even idolised him by wearing the number 26 shirt on his first loan spell at Huddersfield. Brighton and Hove Albion coach, Roberto De Zerbi when in an interview was asked if he would sign Colwill on permanent after his loan deal expired he replied with a yes as the 20 year old was a crucial player to Brighton’s first ever success to European football having finished in the top 7 in the log.

Chelsea have already tabled a huge long-term contract deal for the player who is currently with England U21 in the Euros and he has had a great run since the start of the tournament as they have clinched the finals without conceding a goal having started all the matches. The player has held his contract talks into hold as he is waiting for the Euros to end then talk to Mauricio Pochettino first before making a decision on his future as he wants assurance of his playing time.
