Done Deal:Lewis Hall to Newcastle on loan with a Mandatory buy option.
Newcastle have agreed a £28m fee + 7m bonuses with Chelsea for 18yrs old defender.
Newcastle United have agreed with Chelsea to take Lewis Hall on loan with a Mandatory buy option worth £35m. Newcastle have already agreed personal terms with Lewis Hall and medical have been booked for today.
Chelsea had a great depth on the left back position, and hard decision had to be made to trim the number. Ben Chilwell was the preferred starter by Mauricio Pochettino, while Marc Cucurella will deputize him.
Lewis Hall joined Chelsea as a 8yrs kid from Binfield soccer school in 2012.Hebhas been at Chelsea for 10yrs. Lewis Hall signed his first scholarship for Chelsea in the summer of 2021. Lewis Hall made his professional debut for Chelsea in a FA cup match at Stamford Bridge against Chesterfield. He became the youngest Chelsea player to start a match in Fa cup.
Lewis Hall made 10 appearances for Chelsea last season. He was named Chelsea academy player of the year last season. Newcastle are playing this year champions league edition and it will be great experience for the young talented teenager, to develop his game under Eddie Howe.
