Manchester United to ‘make’ final move for Sofyan Amrabat.
Manchester United are now working on a new deal which could see them sign Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat on loan. The club is trying to balance the Financial Fair Play rules after spending heavily on Mason Mount and Rasmus Højlund this transfer window. As it stands Manchester United can’t make a bigger signing as there have been no major sales on exits from the squad and they are clear they won’t force players to shift out of the club.
Manchester United see a loan deal as the suitable move for the player as pressure is mounting up on Eric Ten Hag due to the slow reaction of the transfer signings and currently he needs more depth in the midfield position.
Sofyan Amrabat has been pushing for the move to happen and after he boycotted the training he was sidelined by Fiorentina and has not been part of the team. This has led to frustrations in the player’s camp as Manchester United seems to have cooled their interest on the player after opening talks earlier with the club but the €70M asking price pushed them off.
Manchester United will try to finalise the deal after getting on loan Cucurella from Chelsea. The next two days will be busy days for Manchester United to get Amrabat and Cucurella before the window closes.
