Touchline Joins SuperSport’s Bias Commentary Team For Soweto Derby

Touchline Joins SuperSport’s Bias Commentary Team For Soweto Derby. South African hip-hop star Touchline is taking his love for Orlando Pirates from the stands to the commentary booth, joining SuperSport’s Bias Commentary team for this weekend’s highly anticipated Soweto Derby.

The Tembisa-born rapper, who has never shied away from showing his loyalty to the Buccaneers, shared the news with excitement on social media, confirming that he will be one half of the official Bias Commentary team when Orlando Pirates face arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs.

“Sekunjalo! Your boy is one half of the official Bias Commentary team for the Soweto Derby this coming weekend. Backing ezimnyama nge nkani @orlandopirates 🏴‍☠️ Nakanjani,” Touchline announced.

Touchline will join Seekay_sa on Language Option 4 on SuperSport Channel 202, with veteran commentator Reggie Ndlovu, popularly known as Mapensela11, also featuring in the coverage.

The Soweto Derby remains one of South African football’s biggest spectacles, bringing together two of the country’s most supported clubs in a rivalry built on history, passion and bragging rights. This time, Pirates supporters will have a familiar voice from the hip-hop scene adding his energy to the occasion.

Touchline has made no secret of where his allegiance lies, proudly representing the black and white while making it clear that he expects the Buccaneers to get the job done.

“Bakhona abazokhala! Ayihlangane khona!” he added, bringing his trademark confidence to the build-up.

The clash is scheduled for Saturday, 31 October 2026, at 15:30 at FNB Stadium. SuperSport’s Bias Commentary feature gives supporters the opportunity to experience the action through the voices of those backing their teams, bringing an extra layer of rivalry and entertainment to the broadcast.

For Touchline, the opportunity brings together two of his passions: football and entertainment. His presence alongside Seekay_sa promises a lively perspective for Pirates supporters, while Mapensela11’s involvement adds experience to the commentary line-up.

Viewers can tune into SuperSport Channel 202 and select Language Option 4 to follow the action with the Bias Commentary team.

With the Soweto Derby fast approaching, Touchline is ready to represent the Buccaneers on the microphone. And if his social media announcement is anything to go by, he will be backing the black and white with everything he has.

The rivalry is on, and Touchline is ready to make some noise.
