Channing Tatum shuts down claims he’s trolling ex Zoë Kravitz

Channing Tatum is setting the record straight after a viral rumour that he was behind an Instagram account dedicated to trolling his ex-fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, and her new fiancé, Harry Styles.

Tatum and Kravitz began dating back in 2021. The two became engaged in 2023, but went their separate ways in October 2024.

Kravitz has since moved on with Styles, whom she became engaged to this past April.

Instagram users started to wonder if Tatum was actually over his breakup with Kravitz when a now-inactive account called @bidness_nonya was captured leaving nasty comments on photos of his ex and her new beau.

One alleged comment from the account, which Tatum appeared to follow, read “just here for the hate” on a recent photo of Kravitz and Styles.

Online sleuths started to wonder if Tatum could be behind the comments.

‘I can’t believe y’all think this is what I’m doing with my free time’

As speculation swirled, Tatum took to his own Instagram Stories to shut down talk that he was moonlighting as @bidness_nonya.

“Yo I truly can’t believe y’all think this is what I’m doing with my free time. F***in hilarious,” he wrote. “Also why would I follow a burner account if I didn’t want people to connect me to it? Wtf come on. But if I really need to say it, I only have one IG account @channingtatum.”

Pop culture commentator Stephanie Tleiji (aka @stephwithdadeets) put together a detailed video in which she debunked the theory that Tatum was @bidness_nonya, noting that the account had left comments on a “bunch of different posts” about celebrities.

Tatum also follows dozens of different fan pages, Tleiji noted.

Tleiji concluded that @bidness_nonya was likely a former fan account that had changed its name and deleted all its followers, except for Tatum.

Other circumstantial evidence also suggested @bidness_nonya was not Tatum, including the account holder revealing they were born in June (Tatum’s birthday is in April) and an exchange with a follower in which they said, “I’m not him.”

“Nonya Bidness Gate Case CLOSED: After a thorough investigation of the evidence, we can most likely confirm this is NOT Channing Tatum’s burner account,” Tleiji captioned her video.

“I’m kind of disappointed it’s not him because this is hilarious,” she said.

“Channing Tatum follows over 8,000 accounts on IG, hundreds of which are Channing Tatum fan pages,” one X user also wrote. “it’s way more likely that page is/was a Tatum fan page which he followed at some point than it is his secret burner account. Especially because the posts sound like a middle aged mom.”

After splitting with his first wife, Jenna Dewan, in 2024, Tatum got together with Kravitz, who directed him in 2024’s Blink Twice.

At the time, Kravitz told Postmedia she was excited to see Tatum take on a different kind of role.

“I’ve always thought he’s such a great actor and I’ve always felt that there was more beneath the surface and it would be fun to watch him do something different,” she said.

After Tatum and Kravitz broke up, a source told PEOPLE a few months later that the separation was “amicable.”

“They realized they’re at different stages in life,” the insider said.

Following their split, Kravitz told ELLE that she was “grateful” for her experience working with Tatum.

“I’m so happy that all of it happened,” she said. “I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”
